Description This handy little adapter harness allows you to plug an oval 4 pin late model GM alternator in to a Rectangular CS130 or CS144 vehicle harness. This harness is required in order to install certain high output alternators on GM trucks that originally came with a CS130 or CS144 alternator with a rectangular plug from the factory. This is common on most 1988-1995 GM trucks, as well as some later models equipped with the heavy duty charging option. This is similar to our H101 harness used on 240 amp part numbers that do NOT require the 12v switched wire activation. Going along with the budget friendly trends in the industry, We decided it was time to play along. Introducing the “Sundown Full Bridge” line of amplifiers, “SFB” for short. These amps pack a huge punch in a fairly small footprint. Due to the full bridge technology, these amplifiers are not strappable however you can line up multiple amps together to create a massive powerhouse in the same, if not smaller, footprint of your standard half bridge predecessors for a fraction of the cost. All of the SFB 4ch amp’s power ratings are listed at the 1ohm rating. For instance, the SFB-500.4 is 500Wrms at 1ohm per channel. This allows you to run many more speakers together in a multitude of different wiring configurations than using a standard Class A/B/D half bridge design. These are the perfect amplifiers for large systems where you have a plethora of pro drivers in multiple doors or line arrays. All SFB mono amplifiers are full range. This not only allows you to run subwoofers as you would most mono amps, but you can also run a large arrays of mids/highs on these amps as well. The crossovers on the mono SFB amps can attenuate from 15hz all the way up to 20khz. This allows you to set bandpass crossover points and dial in whatever frequency you desire for your setup no matter the type of speaker you are using. The SFB series amps are considered to be a “Brazilian Style” of amplifier. This technology is not new and has been around for quite a while however, the use of them has surged dramatically in the past few years. We stuck with the 2.75” coil diameter and added another 5mm of length for additional linear x-max (22mm now). We are able to perfectly balance the mass, motor force, and suspension stiffness for the intended power level. Compared to the v.2 the v.3 features taller cones and wider spiders to enhanced linearity and coil stability to the next level. We also utilized full 3D FEA to further optimize the spider packs for this generation. The motor also features a large magnet shorting ring (faraday ring) & pole cap faraday ring to reduce distortion and deliver smoother response across the entire acoustic spectrum. With the v.3 upgrade we integrated a completely "locked-in" faraday ring that is physically held in place by the T-Yoke. The motor & coil setup is mated to an extremely robust multi-layer spider with fully tied-on & doubled-up “XL” tinsel leads. A competition-grade paper cone, strong foam surround, and custom-tooled aluminum frame (same frame as the bigger brother U v.2 series) are used to complete this masterpiece. On top of the ~22mm of one-way linear excursion we have an x-mech limit of 41mm one-way before coil bottom making it nearly "bottomless." The new motor was designed as a "little brother" to the U v.2 series so you will also note the updated venting system with a solid pole piece from the back and channeled pole on the inside.
