These adapters do not match their product photos. They would be correct if they did but they have changed the lug connection surface to just be flat instead of stepped/taped like shown.
At first the overmolding barely allowed the terminal bolt to reach the lug. Not expecting this problem it immediatly stripped out the first thread. First idea was to modify the adapter by trimming back the overmold to let the terminal sit closer to the lug. This worked initially but also eventually stripped out. Upon closer inspection, the design makes it impossible for the terminal to engage the lug correctly as the flat face doesnt allow any space for normal terminal insulator profiles( without cutting that off as well).
Besides the geometry being incorrect, the material of these is incredibly soft. Even lead is less maleable...
Customer service is aloof to this being an issue so I will have to try fitting thread inserts to solve stripped threads and adding spacers for the terminal to mate to.
Junk.
Fit and finish is superior. Does everything expect it to do.
Great product
Be very careful putting your terminals on they strip extremely easily. Shipping also took forever unfortunately. Order a few items from them recently and not very happy with the customer service. Its definitely not what it used to be years ago.
I bought 5 or 6 pair of different terminals for My Titan 8 PWR-S5 and these weren't used. They are high-quality though and are kept in case ever needed!
