Ciare PW257 Professional 10" Low Frequency Driver: Precision Meets Power
The PW257 is a professional-grade 10-inch low-frequency driver engineered for high-impact sonic performance without compromising clarity. Designed for high-output mid-bass arrays or compact low-frequency systems, it is rated at 400 W AES continuous power handling with 800 W program capability. With a sensitivity of 96 dB, the PW257 efficiently converts power into clean, undistorted output, making it well suited for touring rigs, club installs, and demanding pro-audio environments.
At its core is a massive 3-inch (75 mm) voice coil wound on an aluminum former for efficient heat dissipation. Combined with a Nomex fabric surround and a rigid aluminum basket, this construction ensures excellent thermal control, mechanical stability, and tight, punchy low-end performance defined by an Fs of 57 Hz and an Xmax of 5.5 mm.
Optimized for vented enclosures, the PW257 delivers a wide frequency range from 50 Hz to 3000 Hz, making it an excellent choice for high-performance 2-way systems or dedicated mid-bass applications with a distinctly professional sound signature.
