Run a pair of these for years in a small ported box in the boot of my VW Golf.
They hit surprisingly hard and also drop pretty low, much lower than you'd expect a 6.5 to go.

I'd happily compare the pair of them to a decent single 10" sub with the benefit of they take up hardly any room.

Musical and punchy, capable of delivering some low end sonics as well.... would definitely recommend!

For context, I have been into Car Audio since the 1990s, used to compete in audio competitions and I have owned other 6.5" subs, as well as other Sundown products, namely SA8 V2s and SA15s

If you want surprising bass in a small place, look no further.

Mounted in motorcycle fairing . They sound amazing.

(I'm 15 so, yea) got to use my dad's SA 6.5 when I was 13 and I did not regret it! Even though it is a car subwoofer this thing somehow manage to shake half my house with a power rating over the RMS and it still works TO THIS DAY! With bass quality that my new sub can't even do (and it's a 10"). So, if you're buying this just for a bass line, this will do you justice for sure with one of THE most compact designs ever!

These things are amazing! I have four of them, two in a sealed box behind each front seat. To add bass the ZV5 15's I have won't hit. I have all four wired to 1ohm final impedance. Then I have a JP9⁵ 5ch amp, on my door speakers & ch5 on these. I had four cheaper brand 6.5" subs & it was plenty of power. These seem like they could use a bit more power. But I think I just need to tune things a little better. Even without that tuning, I'm still happy with them & glad I got em when I did. Seeing how the price on everything is still going up I see. I would have added some pictures, it just wouldn't let me at the time of typing this review.
