Using Sundown's patented platform, the Compact features an extended pole piece with a thick shorting ring, plus a custom cross-cut pole piece with a Neodymium cap for increased output and thermal control. The solid, high-velocity pole piece uses CNC cross-cut channel cooling, a series of 16 direct air-gap vents in the back plate to keep the motor even cooler, and a vented top plate/gap.
