Sundown Audio Show 2025

Once again we revisit Hickory Motor Speedway for an action-packed event full of custom audio. Showtime Electronics was there with a ton of awesome equipment to sell, and a demo build with 2 fresh Sundown SDDN 18s ready to hand out hundreds of demos. The event was packed before the event started which mimicked the years past. After getting into the event, we setup the booth full of products and then moved onto the demo build. 

After starting up the "Elogtra", it instantly gained a crowd and gave consistent demos for 4 hours straight with the only breaks being letting people in and out of the car. Joe Mullen, myself(Log) and Kyler Kemp took turns demoing for people throughout the whole show so we can entertain as many people as possible while still driving people to the booth with a designated person to help customers. 

I was able to walk around some of the event and got demos of a couple notable builds including the Deadliest Demo award winner Matthew Brown and his 16 SDDN 15 build coined "The Salt Shaker". This build was only able to choke people out in the hotseat but could rip your hair off in the window with those low 20hz frequencies.

Another amazing build there was Memphis Houston and his "Ice Burb" build with 14 18" Fi neo subwoofers on 7 Gately 15k amps. He notes that he gave 194 demos that day and 183 of them were tap outs (I survived without tapping).

Overall, this show was a success. The Elogtra had to have given close to 200 demos if not more between the 3 people handing them out during the show. Hoping for a larger venue next year as this event has clearly outgrown the facility. Check out pics from the show below!
